One painter suits one or two rooms of walls and trim. A two-painter crew gets roughly twice as much done in the same day, which makes sense for a bigger list or a whole floor.
What can a painter finish in one day?
Every room is different, so treat this as a rough guide, not a promise. Mario looks at your list when he calls and tells you honestly what fits.

Painting day
Your painter arrives, preps, paints for 8 hours on site, and cleans up before leaving.
Program terms
- Interior work only.
- You supply the paint. We send a shopping list ahead of time and suggest a quality matte line for walls.
- We bring caulk, sandpaper, tape, drop cloths and the other supplies.
- You, or another adult, are home during the day so we can check in on priorities.
- The first day is paid in full to reserve your date.
- A day is 8 hours on site. Extra days are booked at the same day rate.
- Color consultation, major drywall repair, wallpaper removal and exterior work are not included.
- Genesis Painting is licensed and insured (RI Reg GC-26905).

Can you paint the outside of my house on a Painter for a Day?
No, Painter for a Day is interior only. For the outside, see exterior painting and ask for a free estimate.
Do you help pick colors?
Color consultation is not part of Painter for a Day. Have your colors chosen before the day so the painter can spend the whole time painting.
Are your painters insured?
Yes. Genesis Painting is licensed and insured, Rhode Island Contractors Registration GC-26905.
What if the list is not finished at the end of the day?
You can book another day at the same rate. Mario will tell you up front if your list looks like more than one day.
