Meet Mario, owner of Genesis Painting

Hi, I'm Mario, and I own Genesis Painting.

I learned this trade working alongside my dad, a master paperhanger. He still works with me, and that's why we hang wallpaper as well as take it down. I've been running Genesis Painting since 2000.

Genesis Painting is a small, owner-operated painting company based right here in Warwick. You won't get handed off to a salesperson. When you call (401) 298-9371 or text (401) 588-0941, you get me. I come out to your house, walk the job with you, listen to what you have in mind, and give you a detailed written estimate. It's free, and there's no pressure.

Most of what I do is homes: interior painting, exterior painting, power washing and gutter cleaning, plus deck and fence staining, shutters and doors, popcorn ceiling removal, and wallpaper removal and installation, all over Rhode Island. I work with a small crew, and I'm on the job with them. We show up on time in the morning, cover anything that could catch a drip, and clean up before we leave each day.

I spend real time on prep, because that's what makes paint last. Washing, scraping, sanding, priming and caulking aren't the exciting part, but Rhode Island weather finds every shortcut. Salt air, freeze-thaw winters and strong summer sun will peel a rushed paint job fast.

I'm licensed and insured, and registered with the State of Rhode Island as contractor GC-26905. You're welcome to look me up.

The part of this work I'm proudest of is the repeat calls. One customer wrote on Google that I've been their painter for seven years. Another hired me in 2017 to paint the outside of their house and garage, then called me back for more. That's how I like to run things: do the work right, keep the price fair, and earn the next call.

If you've got a room, a whole house or a set of gutters that needs attention, call me, or ask for a free estimate below. I'll come take a look.
