Interior and exterior painting: a free written estimate
Every house is different, so painting jobs get a free written estimate instead of a price list. Mario, the owner, comes out, walks the job with you, and puts the scope and the price on paper.
What moves the price
- The size of the home, and how many stories it has
- The condition of the siding, trim and walls
- How much prep it needs: washing, scraping, sanding, priming and caulking
- The paint you choose
What doesn't change: the estimate is free, it's in writing, and there's no obligation. See interior painting, exterior painting, or what exterior house painting costs in Rhode Island.
What every job includes
- Prep first: the work that makes paint last in Rhode Island weather
- Furniture moved and covered, floors protected
- Cleanup at the end of every day
- Licensed and insured, RI Contractors Registration GC-26905

Questions, answered
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. Every estimate from Genesis Painting is free and written, with no obligation. Call or text (401) 588-0941 or request one online.
Can I book Painter for a Day for half a day?
No. Painter for a Day is a full 8-hour day at $695, or $1,195 for two painters.
Why isn't there a price per room?
Rooms vary too much in size, ceiling height and wall condition for one number to be honest. Mario gives you a written price for your rooms after he sees them.
