Warwick Painter Offers Rhode Island Homeowners Spring and Fall Gutter Cleaning, Starting Before Winter
Genesis Painting's new twice-a-year Gutter Maintenance Program is discounted for homeowners who sign up by Nov. 15
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WARWICK, R.I., Oct. 22, 2026 - Genesis Painting, an owner-operated painting company in Warwick, has launched a Gutter Maintenance Program for Rhode Island homeowners. It's simple. Two gutter cleanings a year, one in the spring and one in the fall, booked once and renewed each year.
Owner Mario has painted Rhode Island homes since 2000. He's on every job, and he's seen what clogged gutters do to a house. When leaves pack a gutter, the water has nowhere to go. It spills over the edge, soaks the fascia and trim, and runs down the siding. Come winter, a gutter full of wet leaves can freeze solid, and the water backs up instead of draining. That's how ice dams start. Over time it all shows up as peeling paint and soft, rotting wood. And a lot of the time, Mario's the one called back to repaint it.
"I'd rather clean your gutters twice a year than come back and repaint your trim. It's a lot cheaper for you, too."
Here's how the program works. Each visit, every gutter is cleaned out by hand, every downspout is flushed and checked, and the debris is hauled away. Homeowners get photos when the job's done, so nobody has to climb a ladder to check. If something looks loose or leaky, it shows up in the photos.
The program is $549 a year for homeowners who sign up by Nov. 15. That works out to $274.50 a cleaning. After Nov. 15, the price is $650 a year. It covers homes up to two stories, and homeowners can cancel any time before their spring visit. For anyone who'd rather try it once, a one-time gutter cleaning is $349.
The fall cleaning is timed for after most of the leaves are down, so the gutters are clear going into the cold months. The spring cleaning comes after the seeds and pollen drop.
Warwick and the towns around it have plenty of big, old trees, and the oaks keep dropping leaves late into the fall. Homes under heavy tree cover clog faster, so they're the ones that get the most out of two cleanings a year. Plenty of homeowners book a house power wash at the same time. The gutters go first, so nothing lands on clean siding.
